Default Logitech ps3 adapter

If anyone has a logitech harmony remote and you don't want to keep using your controller or even buy a separate remote to control your ps3, I strongly recommend this.

I have the logitech 360 remote and got the ps3 adapter for christmas. Yes I have the slim and this works flawlessly. Once you pair it to the ps3 and then add the ps3 to your logitech remote....presto...no more using the controller and wasting battery time from your controller...not more pressing triangle square circle just to hit the wrong button and escape out of your blu ray movie....just simple and it works.

I just got both for Christmas.

I can't believe how easy and smooth it was to install both. I also can't believe I have gone on this long without having a universal remote. I got the Logitech Harmony One and that thing is a beauty!

even when i use the ps3 controller it only takes 4-5 button clicks MAX.

to save me 4-5 button clicks isnt worth the $50 for the adaptor.

Amazon had a deal going where when you buy the Harmony One you get the PS3 adapter free with it.

That's what I did. This was barely just before Xmas so it may still be going.

+1

I have this with my Harmony One and I can't imagine ever going back to the mess that was the 5 remotes on my coffee table.

I have it set so 1 button turns on my PS3, TV, Receiver, and waits 10 seconds for the PS3 to boot up and then it will start the disc in the PS3 if there is one, otherwise it just displays the What's New deal. The best part is all the parts of the remote are set so volume controls my receiver, the arrow keys act like a D-pad, the OK button acts as the X button, Exit button like Circle, etc...

Another tap on the touchscreen shuts off my PS3, and switches my TV format, Receiver input, and Cablebox on to my favorite channel. Then I have all my favorite channels with icons ready to go right on a touchpad.

I even mapped the remote for all the hot buttons (like setting format for my TV picture when necessary) so everything is right at my thumb.

Of course the best part is the off button. No matter what I can push the off button and everything is off and I slide it back on the charger and goto bed.

Not to be promoting any products or anything, but for you fellas with wives who don't know jack about operating your home theater, the harmony one and PS3 adapter combo will solve all the complaints - granted you take the time to program it to make it 1-button pushing for her. It's been nothing short of awesome.

I got one of these recently from the trading forum here.

It's excellent and I highly recommend it.

Needless to say, my girlfriend is probably the happiest because of my new Christmas gift. I even have TLC as a favorite channel for her setup with the icon, she's very happy

Which Harmony does everyone seem to be using here these days. I'm close to pulling the plug and getting the Harmony One to replace my Xbox 360 model.

That is exactly what i do don so i'm with you on that! but i would also say that if you happen to own a ps3, don't play games with it and never liked or got used to using the controller for a remote then the adapter is for you. however if your a gamer, don't get caught dead with the adapter!

No, he's not being cheap he is being smart. I have the Harmony 900 and I really would like the PS3 adaptor myself and the only reason I don't have it yet because it's rediculously overpriced. It's JUST an adaptor for christ sake.
If I can find it for $30 or less then sure.
