Anyone having issues loading Stargate 15th Anniversary Edition? - Blu-ray Forum

It took a really long time to load Stargate. Starting the movie was flakey at best. Here is what happened. After watching the previews, the screen went blank and stayed that way until I pressed the Popup Menu key on the remote and then it showed the "Loading" indicator and then stalled, then I pressed the Popup Menu key again and it restarted the "Loading" indicator and then stalled again. This occurred 4 times during the start of the movie. Finally, the main menu appeared on the screen where I was able to select the options that I wanted for playback.

After I watched the movie, I ejected and reinsert the disc to see if by-passing the previews would start normally. The same irregularities had occurred as before.

I contacted Lionsgate for support a week ago, but no answer from them as of yet. Here is the link for Lionsgate "Contact Us"

Anyone else having issues with Stargate 15 loading? If so, have you contacted Lionsgate for a resolution? And if you got an answer, what was the fix?

I just tried it on my Sony 360, took about 30 seconds but it loaded and started, a bit slower then some of the other disc I have but nothing major.

Loaded and started just fine on my Sony S550.

When I loaded the blu ray, it took about 4 minutes to load. I think that is a tad too long... anyway, maybe I got a bad disc... hopefully Lionsgate will reply with a good answer.

If your firmware is up to date I would say you might be right, you got a bad disc, bad luck on that

It loaded with no problems on my PS3.

Yeah... I got the latest, greatest firmware loaded from Sony. I watch that stuff pretty close...

Really I had a problem loading it my 350 it would not load but when I loaded in the ps3 it worked fine.

Work great on the Samsung BDP2550, a little longue than other titles to load but it's working!
