Default My tv sent for repair.

I posted a while back about my tv having thoes black lines on my tv. Today I brought my tv in though warrenty to get it looked at. There was no deadlines given as to when it will be done. I was told if the tv cost more to repair then what it is worth, I will get a giftcard for the price I paied for the TV. So I will let you all know what happens with my tv.

PS
I will be getting a brandname tv if it comes to that, I have a 40" toshiba in mind.

good luck. I'm in the same boat and have been told that I will know by tomorrow whether I get repaired or a check. To be honest I'm hoping for a check because I def have my eye on a certain TV I would like to replace my current one with.

Got a call today. They said the LCD panel was gone on it.going on it. and they could not get the part in they needed to fix it. So it looks like I will be getting a new tv down the road via warrenty. I am going to put some more towards it and get the 40" Toshiba LCD. I think it will be worth it.
