Default Analog Bass Management in DMP-BD80

I was scanning the manual for the Panasonic BD80 in the speaker adjustments and cannot find any way to set the bass management or level when connected to the analog inputs of the Denon 2808. The instructions on page 37 of the manual could use some clarity for the sub woofer. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure the Denon will make adjustments in the analog mode. I'll need to find the manual for it.

To engage bass management in the BD80, set speakers to small. The crossover is fixed at 100Hz for all speakers. You cannot adjust it.

The player has test tones for adjusting levels of the speaker channels, but not the sub. The user interface for level trims is dreadful. I use a test disc and adjust the levels in my receiver (a Denon 3805).
