Shipping steels from Canada

9 steels = $154CAD to ship via UPS, Canada post is slightly cheaper without tracking or insurance.

Is Canada crazy? I could get that stuff shipped from the US for $60USD.

I've decided just to use ebay, its cheaper one at a time at their rates. Anyone else found this?

Are you sure about your numbers? You should be under 5 pounds with 9 steelbooks. You should be able to ship with Expedited Parcel for around $25 from Canada Post. And that's with tracking and $100 worth of insurance included. I refuse to use UPS with their charges in importing items from overseas.

Yes, it's expensive to ship these steels, but I have no idea how you would get $154 CAD unless you're sending via expedited...

That's insane... I shipped 9 to the US last week (4 were jumbo) for less than $24 CDN via Expidited Parcel. At it was WELL packed in heavy cardboard and a lot of bubble wrap.

Go with Canada Post Xpress (or Expedited) post... it will be MUCH cheaper.

I'm not sure where you got your prices from but thats a rip off.
7 steels from western canada to finland using canada post priority mail (which they send fedex express), takes 3 days and its $133. 6 days is $85 and 6 weeks is $45. I just got this quote last week cause i have a package going there.

Check your numbers because something isn't right.
