Almost looks like someone played with the horizontal keystone and managed to only change the bottom. weird.
Edit: Are you sure no one touched the projector? Even moving it right/left just a little bit would keep the top straight and cause the bottom to warp. Last edited by Icecoldblue; 02-03-2010 at 05:45 PM. |

I hope whatever it is an easy fix. I have noticed that my screen is every so slightly lined outwards at the very top of the screen. The screen itself is square and straight, but the black that the borders the white of the screen itself, it seems to fan outwards on both sides at the very top about a 1/8th or 1/4 inch....but I can live with that. Yours is much more obvious.....

This is definitely keystone. The projector had to be swiveled left/right to introduce this if you've never noticed it before. Based on the pictures, the top of the screen has the same issue, just less noticeable. This is probably due to the way the image is projected. I have the same issue due to the constraints of my space, and where I can mount my projector, but I have come to live with. Mine is not so dramatic, but swiveling the projector left/right until you see the image become straighter, then adjusting the lens path should mostly correct your issue.
Edit: This can also happen if the left and right sides of the screen itself are not at the same depth (even). If you haven't changed the way your screen is mounted, though, and haven't had the problem previous, then this shouldn't be your issue. Last edited by Truewitt; 02-03-2010 at 06:27 PM. |
