"Shooter" hits the bullseye - Blu-ray Forum

Got Shooter over the weekend. and I must say that I was very impressed with the PQ. The PQ was an easy 4.5/5. Quality was clean enough to make out the lush mountainscape in the many different terrains shot for this film.

Audio was limited with it's DD (Paramount needs to release in Loseless). Standard audio track for SD DVD release from what I could tell.

However, the special features in HD were great to watch. If there are going to be SF on BD it only makes sense to view it in HD.

All in all, a must buy if you enjoy action movies with suspense or are a Mark Walberg fan.

That's great to hear, as I have never seen the movie but did pre-order it.

Thanks for the review.. I've been on the fence on this one, and I havn't seen it yet.

Since Fox hasn't released anything in a while, and since 300 is on pre-order and I'm not getting anything else for a bit.. I might end up picking this up.

Wish the studios would crank out more then 4 a week, but looks like the fall line-up is starting to rev up into gear.

I thought the end was a bit dragged out, rest of it was ok...still undecided about buying it, one viewing may have been enough

Rented Shooter last week. Must say had me captive its entire run time. Its a must buy. I would recommend in a heart beat.

I rented "Shooter" on DVD, and I have it on preorder. Can't wait to see it with my brothers at my home on blu-ray. Very good movie

the movie was good and have it on pre order at amazon ,I was suprised how good this film was ,you will be suprised too
