Default Got an early copy of the 300 Blu-ray...

just recieved my 300 blueray disc and i must say it looks fantastic in hd. but i have one complaint. the disc has no options menu for sound or chapters infact that side of the disc has had no thought put into it at all. come on warner put some effort into it. value for money please.

Yes.....and every warner movie has a menu....on the ps3 you push the square button to bring it up while the movie is playing....

Of course it has a menu and of course you can change the sound and chapters. Learn your blu-ray player a bit better Just because the movie starts right away does not mean that there is no menu..

ok can somone tell me what are the four color buttons are for on the blu ray remote...i dont understand and no on at best buy can give me a ressonable answer........one assistant at best buy told me that if u press all four at the same time....the ps3 would produce skittles...lol..lmao

all joke aside,,,wat are the buttons for

I wish there would be a a policy that if some stores release it....then all can at that point. Maybe also a fine for the store in question.

i remember reading another post . there is a member on this board that lives in switzerland and gets all the movies a week earlier for some reason so i dont doubt his statement even though he has 1 post.

Received my copy yesterday, which was sent on the 18th from the US. I know a few other companies were shipping it a few days earlier than that.

To answer the original question, press the menu button on your remote and you'll see the audio options (PCM and TrueHD ), subtitles and special features.

The special features menu also pops up after the movie has finished.

Default 300 was shipped early from Movietyme.com

This is the first warner blueray disc i have purchased so i didnt know about the hidden menus.thanks for the intel on that folks. I have had dvds that have shipped earlier than the release date before but i was very surprised how fast 300 arrived. 8 days early.

A local small mom & pop video store near my house actually receive their new release dvds a week early, i used to rent the new releases from them a week early but not anymore since i have converted to Blu.

It is not hidden menus. It is just a ease-of-use thing that the movie starts right when you pop it in. Now with BD you can change your settings while watching the intro..
