Default Worst Album Covers Of All Time!

This one is fun to look at. If you have any of the 25 listed here, let me know. For the Record, I own an original pressing of #25.

Follow the link, it's an interesting ride. http://cityguides.msn.com/articles/s...8&imageindex=1

I don't have any of those to put on my wall but I'd take a few of those Beatles ones.

I have #17 - The Band: Music from Big Pink. I really wish I had an orginal of the beatles' Butcher Cover though! I think Jason has one!

Those covers weren't that bad. And that one with the spaghetti was a satire mocking Herb Alpert's "Whipped Cream & Other Delights" (and it was a comedy album), so they completely misinterpreted what it was.

Personally, I think it's absurd calling either The Band cover or the Beatles' Butcher Cover a bad cover. The Band cover is classic and instantly recognizable and the Beatles were trying to make a point about the way Capitol "butchered" their albums in the U.S. There is some context behind all this.

These covers are much worse:

There's actually a book or two of worst album covers.

Default Darn

I regret to say I have none of the 25, although I do have "Yesterday and Today". It's not pasted over. Rats.

I encourage everyone to share their worst album covers. I'm not at home or I'd post. I'll go through this weekend and see if I can narrow it down to a couple. I do have a James Brown album that rivals the one on the list. I also have a pretty horrid Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker album from the days when they were puppeteers (no sh!t!).

When I scrounge around in thrifts I come across plenty of religious records that would easily make the "worst" list. I resisted so far, but I think I'm going to start collecting them.

Check out this site. They're far worse than the top 25 list. It includes the "Satan Is Real" album, though.

The Neil Young at #25 is an awesome cover!

This has to be the worse.

I will agree that this cover ranks right up there! I'd like to know who the creative genius was that thought this monstrosity up!
