Date Movie
Disaster Movie
Epic Movie
Meet The Spartans
Scary Movie 1-5

I just realized that Uwe Boll is officially the second worst director behind Aaron Seltzer.

If they would have...

A) Had the setting in Gotham City.
B) Had it be the real Catwoman, Selina Kyle, and not Patience...or whatever her name was.
C) Made some kind of Batman reference (just a small mention he existed in that movie world).
D) had a better script
E) done without the magic cat resurrection crap....

...it wouldn't have been so bad I don't think! lol

So basically you're saying if they had done the entire movie completely different it might have been good? It's possible

Yes! I hated the Halloween remakes. One of my roommates told me they'd be great. He was dead wrong. They took everything about Michael Myers and ruined it. He wasn't enigmatically frightening, anymore. He was just this sort-of over-explained meat grinder.

Having said that, I'm going to nix on listing obvious ones, like the Date Movie and Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans crap and go for movies that tried to be outstanding and completely faceplanted, in my opinion.

Oliver Stone's Alexander
Lost in Translation
Splice
Forrest Gump
Time After Time (Watch it. You can tell it took itself seriously, every step of the way, but it's sooooooo horrible!)

Nobody said it had to be a popular opinion.
I just felt it was a failed homage to the kind of stuff that was going on in the French New Wave.
As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to that kind of thing, people should leave the job up to Jim Jarmusch. He's proven he can do it, with greats like "Night on Earth" and he's also proven how difficult it is with arguable screw-ups, like "Limits of Control"

Agree on all of those but the Scary movie 1-2 were good, those were done by the wayans brothers. After they sold the rights is when it went downhill.

Mine would be from what ive seen

All the current spoof movies not done by the Wayans
Castaway-First movie i fell asleep in.
Indiana Jones 4-The Atrocities comitted to this series make this a no brainer.
Shootem Up
Stomp the Yard- "Were stomping the yard. Where are you from." Like stomping the yard is so universally known. I havent seen all of this but what i have seen was god awful.

Honorable Mention. Spidey 3 for the same reasons as INDY 4

can you really compare a Date, Epic, etc Movie to a movie that takes itself seriously as far as shittiness goes?

Exactly, we need to set some wide-release criteria here or something, production budget maybe?
