Question Plaz Transport

im going to be moving my kuro from storage..ive had a new home built and ive missed the sucker!!!!..four long months. ive got the 60, and it just fit standing up in a explorer. i dont have this vehicle at this time...i may need to tilt it at an angle for moving in my suv. ive heard that plazies have liquid in them, so they must be moved standing up, is there any truth to this?

thx

Short distances won't hurt anything. If you were moving across country and it would take a few weeks it would be a different story.

It's not about liquid (plasma cells contain gas, not liquid)...it's about the weight of a glass panel cracking itself. Plasma = glass. LCD = plastic. That's why plasma panels must be transported upright. Tilted slightly - not such a big deal if done carefully. Never would transport it horizontally, though. Especially a 60".
