Akira - Audio Question - Blu-ray Forum

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, Akira is coming on BD on the 10th here in NZ, but before I purchase it, im assuming it will have the same audio tracks as the US release.

Is the English Dub the 'Pioneer' dub or the 'Streamline' dub?. I've only really watched it on Australian SE DVD with the 5.1 dub and occasionally flicked audio tracks over to the other dub to hear the difference.

Which one is the 'new' one? Pioneer or Streamline?

I believe the US BD has the Pioneer dub of the film as that is the newest dub that is not caught up in rights issues.

It's the Pioneer dub with Johnny Yong Bosch
