Audio Question concerning PS3 and obtaining 7.1 Audio - Blu-ray Forum

Hello All.

My PS3 is currently loaded with the 2.60 firmware, is that enough to do 7.1 HD audio as Wrath of Khan will come with 7.1 TrueHD Audio and I'm not sure whether it will play or not.

If anyone could help, that'd be great.

if you have a 7.1 receiver and a 7.1 speaker system, it will work

and in regards to the audio, you have to be using an HDMI cable from your PS3 to your receiver, not an optical cable
