United Kingdom 'The Hangover' & 'Inglourious Basterds' are fantastic transfers!

Hey everyone

Preordered these a few weeks back, and recieved them both yesterday. I am more than impressed with both of the transfers, and am very happy I went for the limited edition of Basterds, it's a very nice box. The unrated version of Hangover was a laugh, only 10 minutes or so longer but some nice additions.

I definately recommend both of the discs

The UK version of the hangover includes a code for a digital copy. Awaiting for Inglourious Basterds to ship. Dam amazon the only company that never ships early (unless you get Amazons Jersey Merchant, Indigostarfish.com then they ship early).

The Hangover - has a Bonus Digital Download. I know... stupid.
Inglorious Basterds - don't think it has a Digital Copy.

The regular edition of Inglorious Basterds doesn't include a digital copy, don't know if the special edition does.

Inglourious is region Free since it's a Universal release right?

The Hangover has a digital copy, but doesn't work with iPod's or any other Apple devices (I don't think)

Basterds doesn't have a digital copy on either of the editions, damn it!

It doesn't seem to have any region coding information on the back of the case, and as it's Universal, I can only assume it's region free.

Hope this helps

The DVDBeaver review of Inglorious Basterds confirms that it is region free.

I have Inglourious on my wishlist for Christmas. Hopefully someone buys me the Limited Edition, it's only £2 more on Play.com!

I bought it off HMV and I still have my student discount, so I got 10% off.
Got the limited edition for £16.19

Good news.

I'm hoping to get my copy of The Hangover today or tomorrow, and the Mrs told me to hold off buying Inglorious Basterds, because she's getting it for my Christmas or Birthday.

I've added The Hangover to my xmas list. I was lucky enought to get free tickets to a pre screening of this at the cinema and its one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time, can't wait to see it again.

I watched the hangover extended cut, but it didn't seem to have anything new in. What parts of it were new?

Off the top of my head, there was alot more between Sid (Jeffrey Tambor) and Doug (Justin Bartha...i think thats his name) before the trip, and after the trip, Sid gives Doug a present....

When they arrive at the hotel suite, there's more, like the almond nuts on the pressure base things, more dialog on the roof, just little bits. In the end credits, on the photos, the blurred out BJ pic is alot clearer

Hope this helps

I can't really think off the top of my head

Sorry, but i am unaware of exactly what a BJ is. Would you care to expand. Is it something to do with Blu-rays?
