I would love to know when Bridge on the River Kwai is to be released on Blu-ray. This is an all time classic and would show beautifully in hgh def.

No release date yet, but I agree that we generally need more David Lean films..
Bring on Lawrence of Arabia and Bridge on the River Kwai!

I too would love to own The Bridge on the River Kwai and Lawrence of Arabia on Blu-ray disc format. Including with the majority of Peter O'Toole and Alec Guiness' filmographies. Excluding Star Wars obviously...
