I have no problems with DigiBooks (quite like 'em, in fact), and am looking forward to this release as well as 'Midnight Express', also to be released as a Digibook. Both will hopefully look awesome in Blu.

Hopefully Sony's DigiBooks will be identical in size to Warner's. (And if not, at least make them the same as standard Blu cases.)

Ok let's recapitulate the history of Boxes for one second because i'am freaking tired to read about that 10 times in the first pages of each freaking thread when a movie come in a slightly difference package.

Did it Happen in VHS = Hell Yes
Did it Happen in Laserdisc = Holy Mother Yes
Did it happen in DVD = Might god even more
Is it happening with Blu-ray = Off Course
Will it happen if their any future disc based media = It's written YES in the Sky

Want you're collection to look the same. Buy Digital Download, voila.. they now all on you're HDD and look the same..

All to say that no package will ever prevent me of buying a movie that i like in the best video format/audio available on the market.

So Sony's embracing digibooks? Now which dimwit over there actually thought that was a good thing?

Sadly, it's a collective of dimwits. They all gather around a conference room table and mastermind dim ideas while lunch is catered.

Even though I don't like Brad Pitt much, I can't wait for this release.

Dumb question alert: Are the HD screen savers for BD-capable computers only?

Why on earth anyone doesn't buy a movie simply because they don't like the packaging is beyond anything I can comprehend.

I don't get the hatred for "digibooks" anyway, but to each his own.

This is good to hear, digibooks are a nice and special way to release certain films on Blu-ray. A River Runs Through It is a great film, and I cannot wait to add it to my Blu-ray library.

From my perspective, it's not that they need to look the same - it's a quality of materials issue. Either (1) the books are all bent out of shape or (2) the plastic disc holder and cardboard are poorly glued together. That's why, at least for me, digibooks will and always will suck.

You mean just like you didn't like the Incredible Hulk green case? Everyone has their dislikes, no need to be rude to him. I personally don't care how titles are packaged anymore.

The one that thought a great movie like this deserved to be given an extra special packaging.

Digibooks are quite nice and I wish all BD's came in them. If it bothers you that much don't buy it.

Did I say I won't get it? No, it's just not a priority anymore, like Shawshank Redemption. I already have 1 movie in a digibook(Notebook) that sticks out like a sore thumb...

Never had a problem with any of mine, in fact they seem to hold up better then the plastic cases.

Don't have any "digibook" BDs yet, so I guess this will be my first. Digibook or not, this is a must-have movie for me.

And i would add that u don't do rallies or go to forest or whatever "dangerous situation" with your blu-rays in your pocket damn!
I mean, blu-rays stay on a shelf most of their life ! how the hell can they be deteriorated ?

It's just an excuse they use. I don't think they like movies (and actually the content of their blu-rays) that much
