Rock of Ages Blu-ray

It looks like this will be released Oct. 9, and it will come with a PG13 cut, and an extended R-rated cut.

Didn't get to see this in theaters...might pick it up if the price is right. Hopefully it will be cheap-ish during the next BEst Buy upgrade and save which will start right around this time

I will probably have to get this for my wife, Thanks for the heads up on the street date. I just bought her play tickets for ROA, she will be going in Sept to see it for the 1st time, it was a birthday present from me...

Excellent, the wife and I both really liked this movie!!! Hopefully it will have great audio so I can show off my system when friends and family come over for the holidays!

My wife to be LOVED this film, bought the soundtrack the same evening. She's super excited to own this one on Blu-Ray.

the movie version was nothing like the stage version - can't say it impressed me all that much.

I heard the theatrical version pushed the R rating pretty hard. Anyone have any personal opinions on that? I wonder what the full R rated version will be? Seems like this is the kind of film that will be better viewed uncut.

oh please, no it didn't. From what I've read online all the songs that were planned for the movie version were filmed and included, no songs were cut in post production - although I'm pretty livid that 'The Search is Over' was not in the film version.

the once scene that didn't make the theatrical cut, but scene in the trailer was the brief instance where Stacie Jaxx signed the fans boob.

Bring it on. I despise sloppy editing and you could tell there were parts that were chopped up pretty bad.

I am so happy! I loved this movie! I saw it four times at the movies and enjoyed it more and more each time.

I have the soundtrack played through about 80x too lol

As far as the R-rated version goes, it will include "Rock You Like A Hurricane", which was cut from the theatrical release because Julianne Hough's lap dance with Tom Cruise.

I think it will also include a scene where Tom Cruise signs some girl's boob too - it was in the trailer, but not the movie.

Regardless I'll be getting every U.S. and Canada exclusive of this.
