Picking up my new Sony KDL46W5150, need a new Blu-ray player... suggestions?

I've been going back and forth between the Sony KDL46W5100/5150 and the Panasonic Plasma 50G10 for the better part of a week now and just got a call back from one of my local HT stores that told me they'll sell me their last one for $1099 So, I'm picking it up later today, but now I need another Blu-ray player to compliment this beautiful display.

I currently own a Samsung model that has Netflix and Pandora, and while I don't use Netflix the Pandora option is nice, however the player itself could due with an update as the software is rather piss poor.

I originally thought about getting a PS3, but since everyone is sold out of the $299 model and I'd have a hard time explaining to the misses why I'm buying a new game system (currently I have an Xbox Elite) I'd need some more information about the capabilities of that system to spend the extra dough and get the $349 model.

Any suggestions on a good player that will compliment this Sony around $200 or perhaps a nice set of "facts" I can use to justify the PS3?
