Default Jordi Savall SACDs
If you consider yourself a fan of pre-classical music, such as Renaissance and Medieval, or just a student of music and history, you really should check out some of Jordi Savall's SACD releases. One just came out (haven't yet heard it) that takes you on a journey from Spain to Peru to Mexico, called El Nuevo Mundo.

Savall's previous SACD releases include Istanbul, Jerusalem and La Ruta de Oriente. All are excellent recordings/performances and come with beautifully produced booklets translated into several languages.
