Default BD-P2500/2550 Owners...

Just wondering how your player is treating you... It seems all you ever see is that Samsungs are junk.

I'd like to report that after 12 months of service mine is still humming along, playing everything I toss in it w/o a hitch.

Any others have positive reports on this BDP?

I used to have a BD-UP5000 that worked fine up until I sold it, that was strange. But both the BD-P2500 and the BD-P3600 I have now are good players that hasn't given me any issues with Blu-rays, DVDs and Netflix streaming. I guess I'm lucky compared to others

Running a bd-p3600 (Canadian) myself since July (?), built in Mar... no problems so far...even after multiple updates...

Ironically Im here investigating an issue for a family member via his BD-P2550.
in his words he says the problem is
"The Samsung has the most recent firmware update which I downloaded a few weeks ago. However, something still exists that when I attempt to go to streaming video and click on the Netflix icon I randomly get an error message that says something like: Check to see if the router is connected properly or something about not enough bandwith."

I have not been able to look at it first hand thus far, but judging by what he is describing it sounds like an issue with either his current router config, or possibly the network settings in the BD-P2550. Although considering he was able to successfully download and install the newest FW update via the device.. I'm not sure.

Not really looking for a definitive answer here based on the lack of me seeing the issue first hand, but just figure I would post his words to see if anyone else had the SAME problem and what the cause was.
My experience was Sammy (aside from my TV which I love) is limited to a BD-P1500 which I returned for a Sony S350.(Only regrets there are not being able to paused frame by frame)
Anyway thanks for reading.
PEACE!

Which f/w version?

There was an issue with that earlier on that was corrected. I haven't had any issues with it since then. I hardly use the netflix streaming feature anymore, especially since now I have added a bunch of movies to my collection in the last month. Might need to put that on hold for a while.
