Hi Guys -
I recently just switched to using analogs outs from my Denon 3800 to my Denon 4308; instead I used to just bitstream everything to my Denon 4308. First off, I notice a big improvement in the sound. It just draws me in more; Its more fluidy, smooth, just more midrange "presence", not sure how to describe it. However, im having difficulties in trying to set a crossover point in the analog section. I know how to the HDMI speaker settings, but not analog. All I see is the 7.1 audio out settings, not the 2CH dedicated outlets also on the back of the Denon 3800. Can someone help me out here? Is this just bypassing the crossover or whatnot when using these dedicated 2CH outputs? Also, does the pure direct mode on the Denon 3800 bypass the bass management etc? Thanks for your help Last edited by G9logitech; 01-14-2010 at 01:53 PM. |
