Default PS3 stutters/skips with District 9

My 40gb ps3 has skipped/stuttered about 45-60 minutes into District 9 at the same spots (I stopped playback after it did it 3 times....tried playing movie 2 times and does it always in same spot). Anyone else have problems with playback on District 9 on the ps3? I need to update my pioneer blu-ray players and see if there is an issue with playback on them. If same problem spot playing on pioneer then I'm contacting amazon for a replacement.

Sean I have watched it twice in my 60GB PS3 without any issues. Maybe you got a bad disc?

I tried twice and my cousin did once. I'm thinking its a bad disc. I can't see a Sony pictures movie not working on sony's prized blu-ray player from the get go. I'm contacting amazon for a replacement.

Edit...firmware is up to date fyi.

I watched D9 on my PS3 and it was just fine. But on my other blu-ray player, when I tried to skip past the previews, it just kept starting at the beginning of it. So I had to sit through the damn previews but luckily one of the previews was for Moon so I guess that's kind of okay

Sean worked D9 worked fine on my PS3... I have the 120gb slim. Firmware is up to date on mine as well. I agree probably a bad disc.

I went and got an exchange thru Amazon. Should have it in a few days. Seems like a bad disc.
