Samsung BDP1600 Network Problems

I have an ethernet from it to a homeplug. When I ethernet the homeplug to my laptop, it works a treat so I know the homeplug isn't the problem. I have put in all my IP address, gateway etc....and when I run a network connection test, everything is fine EXCEPT for INTERNET SERVICE TEST. I had it working with Youtube for about 5 minutes one day, but not BD-Live. The next time I switched on my player, without having changed any settings, Youtube wouldn't work. Anybody have any ideas as to how I can fix this? Really want to check out BD-Live and Youtube etc.... Thanks very much in advance, I'm useless when it comes to technology like this!
