I have those like $6 HDMI cables for my 360 and PS3 as I was told "it's a digital signal, it doesn't matter." However, reading through the HDMI sticky on here made me think twice..
If I was to buy a quality cable, would it enhance the picture for Blu-Ray through PS3? And if so, what's a good cable for $25 or so? -Dsella |

No, it would not enhance your image. You just need monoprice cables from http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp. There would be no difference between $6 and $25 cables.
Zippo, that's twice you've beaten me to an answer. ![]() |

I actually did a side-by-side test with a 30' cable from Monoprice and one from my dealer ($300) for my projector. No difference whatsoever. Also, when I bought my very first HDMI cables to go from my Blu player to my TV, my friend lent me his supposedly high-end cable and once I received mine from Monoprice, I plugged it in and again no difference.

I've ordered my tv mount, optical cables, HDMI, etc. from Monoprice. Very cheap, yet quality items. |

Only long HDMI runs (at least 50') really need high-quality cable to stay on the positive side of the "digital cliff"--and there's cheaper options for that than Monster. For the usual 6' connections, Monoprice works perfectly; with one exception (a freebie with my Vizio TV), that's all I use.
