yes... bbv is open 365 days of the year. i myself have worked the last 4 years on christmas day and this year will be no different. our hours this christmas day will be 12pm to 7pm.

limited quantities per store (mine only has one) and no its directly from sony not a bbv version so its the previous model from the 360.

Looks like BBV is trying to blow out their old S350s at ~100 vs. the 249.99 they have had them at collecting dust on the shelves. I got mine @FS for ~180 1.5yrs ago with the IRon Man BR, so its not much of a deal at 100, but not bad either - a solid BR player at a budget price.

The main difference is the S360 has onboard decoding for DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD, whereas the S350 lacks the DTS-HD decoding; so if you're an audiophile and your receiver does not decode DTS-HD (or if you use your TV for audio) you may want to spend the extra ~50 on boxing day for the S360, more and more studios are choosing DTS-HD and HD audio is fantastic.

Edit - WM has the BDP-S360 for $136 on Boxing day.

still not the chepest i've paid for a blu though...i got a blu for 0.00 once @ rogers...the guy ended up punching my blu as a 10.00 dvd and i had a 10.00 off coupon. i wont say what title that was though as it was an embarasingly awful anime adaptation

Thanks for the confirmation. I ended up buying it from Staples.ca today. They're selling it for $149.99, and I was able to use a $20 off $150 coupon I received this morning to lower the price to $130. No sense in waiting till Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
