Doesn't matter to me, I have the movie. I'm not big on extra features. Probably in the next 5 years we'll see a lot of Special, Unrated, Deluxe, etc... Editions come out. Studios love to double, triple, etc... dip their movies. So I'm not surprise, if this rumor becomes true.

This could be just a fake rumour to make people think twice before buying the Blu-Ray version. I think they are trying to reduce the number of Blu-Ray 300 sales this week. I'm picking mine up tonight after work!

it's a rumor... seriously, if you want all the extras, buy the 2disc dvd as well... most of the extras included with WB releases are SD anyway. i really don't give a flying FUDGE about extras... the movie is what i'm going to show off to my friends, not the extras. High-Def Digest is crawling with HD-DUD fanboys.

Precisely. This is exactly how this FUD is being used. Besides, this movie kicks ass. Why wait? The alleged special edition will be nothing to call home about. Don't let them foil the sales slaughtering they will surely take over this one. This is last minute FUD!

and especially 300 on BD contains PCM and DolbyTHD
