Possible Crow Special Edition? - Blu-ray Forum

I just saw this interesting piece of news over at shocktillyoudrop. Alex Proyez is trying to recover 11 minutes of footage...most including Brandon Lee. Hopefully that means a holy grail of special editions for Lee fans. Link below.

I hope the new Crow film turns out good, everything after the first was HORRIBLE!

I will gladly upgrade to the BD, extra footage or not! (although the missing footage will be more than welcome).

If this manifests itself as a box set, or collector's edition set of some sort, I'm fine with that so long as it doesn't include the sequels.

Ok City ofAngels sucked royally. I mean how does a crack head manage to play a crack head badly? Salvation was alright, not great but descent. Wicked Prayer was the worst of the bunch. I couldn't even watch it all the way through. The first movie is the only great one and the only one to deserve a Blu version.

As far as the new Crow goes it is supposed to be a remake which is sacrilegious in my book. It is up there with Predators as far as remakes go for me.

I remember them mentioning new characters though? just a reboot of the franchise.

I would only be interested in the first movie on BD, if it was to be release only in a box set with the sequels I would just skip it.

They must be pretty violent scenes if that extra 11 minutes meant an X rating.

I have the JPN release, but put me down for this one if it ever happens.

I LOVE the first Crow. Wore out my old VHS tape of it and nearly did so with my DVD snapper case edition. Watched it every Devil's Night.

Would love to see ANY edition with a decent transfer out on blu.

I love this movie and I can do without any possible limited edition Bronze Crow Bust.

Wow, this news has left me speachless!

I've been waiting for the annoouncement all year that we'd see "The Crow" hit Blu in time for the 15th anniversary (this year). But if I have to wait for some extra footage I'll wait! Though, I hope they'd do seemless branching, in case the footage should have been left on the cutting room floor, if you know what I mean.

Just because there's more footage from a great movie does not mean it will make it better.
