Brotherhood of the Wolf... is there any hope? - Blu-ray Forum

This is one of my favorite movies. I'd love to see it come to blu-ray... it's a French flick, and I have no idea who currently has U.S. distribution rights; is there any hope at all of seeing it come out on blu-ray here in the States?

It's really an amazing film.

There is a strong chance we will see it on Blu-ray in the U.S., at some future date. Universal is the distributor and they have been mildly aggressive about releasing movies of this nature.

This would absolutely rock on Blu!!! I would pop it in and go right to the first fight scene in the rain!

There's a French and U.K. Blu-ray release, but they are both region B locked.

I too want this movie on Blu-ray and it's my only HDDVD import.

That being typed, I own the Canadian 3-Disc, UK HDDVD and USA 2-Disc.

Interesting how its loosely based on real events. There was a 2 hour special called The Real Wolfman recently on The History Channel. A cop and cryptozoologist went to France. They concluded that the farmer who ends up shooting the beast was actually its keeper. And they thought the beast was a hyena that was trained by the farmer. How he got an African animal to France? They didn't answer that one, lol. Nice if it releases around Halloween when The Exorcist does.
