Matt Groening: Simpsons Movie on DVD later this year - Blu-ray Forum

Matt Groening, creator of "The Simpsons", was at Comic-Con 31 July 2007.
He has mentioned about "The Simpsons Movie" on DVD later this year, but so far no mention of it on BD yet.
And you may catch some more "Spider-Pig" on some of the deleted scenes on the forthcoming DVD (which I'm sure will be on the BD, too).

If Fox would just start releasing again then we would definitely see Simpsons on Blu. Matt probably can't say anything about Simpsons on Blu-Ray because then he would spoil Fox's big surprise when they release their entire film archive on Blu for Christmas!

This is not news. Summer movies come out before Christmas, especially big summer movies
