Default Need some help from the Pro's

What is the best way to hook up the Home Theater? I get both of these answers so, I thought I would ask the pro's......

So which set-up is better?

All HDMI's to the receiver first, then out to the TV?

All HDMI's to the Tv first, then out to the receiver?

So which is the best?

Right now I have ALL HDMI's going to the receiver, and then from the receiver out to the TV via HDMI.
