Carolina Audio SM4 up front my SM3 in the surround and a pair of subs(?brand).
I would power these with the new Berning tube amps. Ahhh to be rich and make my day dream a reality.

861 Reference Surround Processor
Four DSP8000 Reference Digital Loudspeakers
Pair of DSP7200 Digital Active Loudspeakers

Just too many speakers and so very few I listened to....I just can't answer this yet....I'd be picking them on name alone, and that just isn't right.

I'm also curious on some of the choices/omissions, such as no Diamond series, and the reference Klipsch line over the Palladium's.

Anyways, I chose other. I'd be torn between a Dyn Confidence setup, the Palladium's (entirely different speakers than the Dyn's, but I like em both), Wilson Benesch (not sure which lineup), or B&W Diamonds. Another possibility would be the new Paradigm Sig Series, but I've never listened to these. I hope to one day be able to make said decision

Are you kidding me, I would go with the

Revel Ultima2 Series

I'm not sure if you left off the 2 or not in that series, but I am guessing you did.

Not surprisingly, I voted for the B&W Diamond series, having already voted with my hard-earned $$$$$s.

He meant Diamond. The Nautilus series was discontinued years ago when B&W stopped using the metal dome tweeters for its top models and started using the diamond tweeters. Major improvement. And one reason the N802s cost $8,000 and the 802Ds cost $14,000.

I will start building my dream speakers this weekend. Most of the parts will arrive on Friday. In the meantime, I don't mind owning these Avantgarde speakers and subwoofer. They are marvels of German engineering.

I picked OTHER. If I had to start over I honestly don't know what I'd choose, as there are so many I have yet to hear.
