My friend and I have a little bet going on which movies will make the most money this year.We each picked 5 movies.Total domestic gross wins. It was a snake draft. He had first pick I had 2nd and 3rd and so on. What do you guys think? Whats your top 10 money makers in 2010?
Heres our list in the order they were picked. 1.Iron Man 2 2.Shrek 3.Harry Potter 4.Toy Story 3 5.Eclipse 6.Alice in Wonderland 7.Tron Legacy 8.Chronicles of Narnia 9.Little Fockers 10.The last airbender Last edited by jeffrow; 01-09-2010 at 08:40 PM. |

No way Shrek is #2. And it's Eclipse, not Twilight.
I think Toy Story 3 is def gonna be a big winner on the list along with many of the movies you have listed. HP no doubt and same with Iron Man 2. Is that all the big movies coming out next year? |

If the question was Worldwide and you guys hadn't picked HP 7 I'd say you are nuts
![]() If it is domestic, I'll go with: Iron Man 2 - $350M-$375M is my early prediction. ($700M - $800M WW) Harry Potter 7 - Probably $310M - $340M (close to $1B WW) Eclipse - $280-$300M (As much as many people despise these movies, it will make a truck load of cash) Shrek 4 - $275M - $300M (that 3rd one left a bad taste in quite a few fans mouth) Toy Story 3 - $250M (though it could be higher or lower depending on how much fan interest has been built up over the years, the first two made $191M and $245M in 1995 and 2000.) After the top 5, I'm not sure what everything else will do. I expect Inception to perform quite well, but I'm not sure exactly how well. |

We agreed that these two would be the breaker. Airbender is going up against two big movies so that worries me. Knight and Day and ECLIPSE

Proof that even a topic that isn't even mathematically conceivable of having Avatar in it, gets mentioned only after 12 posts.
