Default 'Spider-Man': Possible Peter Parkers?

Now that Tobey Maguire has left the franchise, Ask Ausiello asked his readers to tell us who'd be the perfect web slinger for the planned reboot taking the franchise back to high school; These where all internet write-ins, so none are studio choices at the moment and I only kept the few kids young enough to actually even be considered, most of the write-ins where of 25+ year actors, when they want a younger high school aged kid or atleast can pull the look off. But i thought it'd be fun to cast your vote and see who of these is the most popular choice to play the next possible Spider-Man:

Anton Yelchin (Age 20) If there is a young actor working today that can disappear into an iconic role better, let me know. He re-invented [Star Trek's] Chekov brilliantly, was the ONLY enjoyable thing about Terminator Salvation, and even made Charlie Bartlett 10x better than it really was. (Well, him and RDJ.)

Kevin McHale (age 21) - Artie from Glee.
Don't tell me I'm not COMPLETELY right in fantasy-casting that one.

Lucas Till (Age 19) His first major movie role was Jack Cash (the older brother of Johnny Cash) in the biographical movie, Walk the Line. His latest movie, The Spy Next Door, Till plays the role of a Russian spy.

Aaron Wolff. the kid from A Serious Man. He looks just like Peter Parker from the comics, minus the red hair, and he'd be old enough now.

Freddie Highmore (Age 17) from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

David Archuleta (Age 19)
Peter Parker fits so well with David Archuleta's personality.

David Henrie (Age 20) from Wizards of Waverly Place.

WyldeMan45, you obviously came into contact with some hardcore shit!

David Archuleta?!?!

ARE YOU ****KING KIDDING ME!!!

Its either Jake Gyllenhaal or an unknown actor, if any of these twerps get the part, Spider-man is dead to me.

I honestly expected none of those choices. Thanks for being original.

David Henrie seems way too cool and hardcore to play a believable Peter Parker. Anton... maybe I can see that working. Plus it'd be nice to see him get a big role. I like Lucas Till a lot. Not sure if he feels like a Pete. I still need to see Glee and A Serious Man so I don't know about Kevin McHale or Aaron Wolff. Freddie Highmore is still a kid in my head, need to see something where he's older... and David Archuleta lol.

Kevin McHale. Ha! I knew he looked familiar. He was the Pizza by Alfredo's delivery kid who got kidnapped by Michael and Dwight on The Office.

Anton Yelchin. I liked him in Star Trek and Terminator Salvation (though calling him the ONLY enjoyable thing in that movie is silly, IMO). If they're really determined to go the high school route for the new movie, he'd work just fine. I'm not sold on the new direction at all, personally, but I'd be lying if I even pretended I wasn't going to go see it.

Jake Gyllenhaal? Peter Parker: The Amazing Oldest High School Student Ever! Luke Perry's got nothing on him.

They all look like terrible choices to me, but I'm also not crazy about the idea of rebooting the series. The 3rd movie was a little weak but I really like the Spiderman franchise as it is with Tobey Maguire.

Agreed. And I have no idea who is better, but I am sure Sony can find someone better than these choices.
