Default studio 10's to adp-470's...help???

hello all! im hoping someone can help or explain this to me...for my rear surround channels i had paradigm studio 10 v.5's. a friend of a friend offered me a pair of paradigm adp-470's v.3 for such an unbelievable low $$$, that even if i had zero use for them, i would have bought them anyway to resell. once i got them home i got to thinking how much better it would be to get the studio 10's on stands out from the back, and also have rear surrounds behind me where they are suppose to be. sooooooo, i stripped the studio 10's out and hung the 470's about 2 feet above the recliners with about 5 feet inbetween them.

now, heres what im noticing, i dont notice much sound coming from them. i played a bunch of scenes from some movies and stood on the recliner so my ear was right at the speakers. maybe i just so happened to pick some bad surround movies to demo, i dont know. iknow there all set up right cause i tested them with my a/v receiver. is there a different setting in a receiver when using dipole speakers for rears...if anyone might know what it is, i would love to hear....

i forgot to mention my a/v receiver is a marantz sr 7002, and my amp is a B&K 200.7.
