Default Pre-1990 Films on BD: Help with Recommendations!

Greetings Everyone,

I have been looking into expanding my catalog with more classic and older films, many that I had never even got on DVD, let alone BD. What are some of your recommendations that you love on BD? Be it a classic Van Damme movie, a horror, or classic comedy, etc.: What are some of your favorite pre-1990'ish films that are now on BD? Please share! Thanks!

No problem...I'm sure there is a bunch more that I have in my collection that I'm forgetting.

2001: A Space Odyssey... I'm kicking myself for almost forgetting that one.

Thanks for your feedback, Polanski. I am not really looking for any recommendations from a certain time period, obviously the time period I specified is a rather large window. I was just hoping to get some suggestions for what some other users favorites are, which many people provided. This gave me a great start on some films to look into, some of which are new to me, which is exactly what I was looking for, 'Old Gold' if you will If you have any that standout to you personally that haven't been mentioned, I would love to hear them. Cheers!

Excellent. Thanks for the recommendations! I'll have to look into those. Much appreciated.
