I would like to get a digital sound level meter. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Radioshack has a good digital meter for $49.99 Alot of members have bought this one!

Check out Big Daddy's thread on calibrating with an SPL meter HERE.

I own one from Radio Shack (digital) like the one in the first post. It works great and I highly recommend it.

Thank you very much ryandubbz and progers13. It seems the radioshack digital meter is the one to get. I just picked it up. Now to see how to put it to function.

Does the Tandy Realistic model have a decimal point like 80.1 and 2 and so on? I own the original analogue model which I’ve had for well over +10 years. It’s been dropped many times, and still works!

If you have an iPhone, there is an SPL meter app for 99 cents.

I have the digital Radio Shack meter and it works fine for my needs.
