Default Am I missing something with the forum changes?

Is there an announcement about the recent changes? For instance, I no longer see a PS3 forum and all the old posts are gone?

PS3 is in the "Blu-Ray" section... and I admit, I feel lost with all the changes as well.

A bunch of changes were implemented yesterday and it appears there have been some revisions put in effect today. Personally I liked it when the PS3 was in the gaming section yesterday, but it got some complaints so apparently they put it back.

I also thought it made more sense to put the PS3 gaming forum in the Gaming section, but apparently scrolling is too hard for some.

At first it seems drastic, but you get used to it. Change is good

The PS3 is currently in the "Blu-Ray" section. Just because it makes sense in Gaming doesn't mean it doesn't also make sense in the Blu-Ray section. While not so true anymore there used to be quite a few PS3 actual Blu-Ray questions, as opposed to just raw game conversations.

Having said that, I've had a problem with the PSP board being in a Blu-Ray section for a long long time. And the PSN section doesn't really belong there either although it'd be mighty weird to have that separated from the PS3.

It's just my opinion, but to me it made much more sense the one day they moved the PS3 section in with the rest of the gaming section. It looks like about 99.9% of everything discussed there has to do gaming.

"PS3 - Gaming" and "PS3 - Blu Ray Discussion" may be worth exploring, because yesterday I came across the same issue when looking for info on MLB 10 The Show.

I like the new changes but sometimes I end up forgetting where a sub-forum is. I'll get used to it eventually.

Like I said, today it's all about gaming.

There used to be threads about PS3 impacts on Blu-Ray, PS3 vs. Standalones, how to get the most out of the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player, etc.

I for one don't really have a problem with it either way.

I don't really see why Blu-Ray.com has gaming forums at all. Movies and the like I get because Blu-Ray is the medium for them. But the percentage of people interesting in Blu-Ray interested in gaming has to be fairly small, and to a lot of those the medium for the games is irrelevant. It's not hard to find people with a PS3 who don't even know they are using Blu-Rays.

PS3 is a Blu-ray player/gaming console.

So having it in the Blu-ray section makes perfect sense.
