Default Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus release date?

I saw on VideoETA that the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is coming to DVD on April 27, does this seem right to anyone? I can't wait to add it to my collection. This site has been right mostly every time I've used, they've been off a couple of times.

I was hoping to catch this one in theaters, but it was only released for about 30 seconds.

The movie was pretty average, saw it at TIFF and the atmosphere and the hype behind it being Heath's final performance pretty much made the movie.

There was really nothing special about this film at all! I had wondered why this movie had very little hype around t and no major marketing. That was until I started watching it. The studio was smart not to put a lot of money behind it.

The movie was absolutely terrible.

I drove an hour to see where it was playing, and everyone I went with hated it. The plot was so confusing, so much of the movie didn't make sense. The acting was great, effects were great. However, none of this matters if none of the audience can make sense of the plot.

I don't know why but I really liked how much of a tangled mess it was, I saw it twice, and I thought it was structurally quite interesting, and it really makes more sense after multiple viewings. It certainly is hard to approach. I don't want to insult Heath Ledger after the Joker but this performance wasn't anything special, in fact some of the character's mannerisms were very similar. It's certainly weird, but I really enjoyed it, and I found the visuals to be really beautiful. I really like how Gilliam has been able to preserve that handmade fantasy feel that I usually associate with 80s flicks like Neverending Story. I thought Tom Waits and Christopher Plummer were terrific as well.

"Doctor... Par-NAW-SISSSS!" totally reminded me of his "Why So Serious?" scene.

I found it quite entertaining. I knew Terry as a director who makes weird and confusing movies so I didn't put my expectations up so high and in result, I am buying it on blu ray :P I just think it's worth it.

Luckily I got to see it back in October, didn't know really what to expect, but I LOVED it. But am I the only disappointed that Criterion doesn't seem to be doing the release. Thought that, like many of Terry Gilliam's masterpieces, that it would have a Criterion release.

I am skipping this, I gave up on Terry Gilliam a long long time ago. Me and him are just not made for each other
