It comes out in the US on Christmas Day (limited release). I think they are planning a wide release for early January. I really hope so, because I would love to see this film in the theater. Visit the official site for more info:

It's in limited release right now in the U.S., but it's supposed to have it's wide release toward the beginning of January. I don't recall the date right now, though.

Big Terry Gilliam fan. Which reminds me, when TF are we going to get Brazil? The last time I saw that masterpiece I had no gray hair, and it was on VHS.

I thought it was a good movie. But very weird never seen anything like this before. Kinda like that movie Big Fish. But I like the movie I may buy it if the price goes down.

Fisher King is the last movie I saw of him. I realise that I would just never like his style, just not for me. Not saying that he is a bad director or bad story teller, he just not one for me.

Wow. Did this even open at the theater? I'll give it a rent, Terry Gilliam is rather hit and miss.

His movies are hit-or-miss with me. When they hit... wow, they're great. But when they miss... wow, they're not.

Regardless, he always does a great job when he adds commentary and supplements. I missed this one in the theater, but will blind buy in a heartbeat if there's commentary. If not, I'll add it to the rental queue.

Yep. I saw it in one of the independent theaters in Providence, RI. I know it played across the country in the smaller, independent theaters, but I'm not sure if the film made it to too many larger chain theaters.
