Hmm what to get..

Debating between getting two Alpine Type-S 12" subs and using my Pioneer GM-5400T amp which does 190w x 2 at 2ohms or two Alpine Type-R 12" subs with an MRP-M1000 amp which is 1000W RMS at 2ohms but monoblock so split between two would hover around 500w/sub.


Obviously Type-S would be cheaper, but do you think the Type-R's would really be THAT much louder? Because if I did that, I'd have to rerun 4 gauge wire, and buy a capacitor for it.
