Zellers $15.99 Blu-ray Sale (Feb 19th-25th) - Blu-ray Forum

The new Zellers flyer for Feb 19th-25th is advertising "assorted Blu-ray DVDs"

for $15.99 each.

This looks to be the same selection of Disney live-action BDs that Futureshop is offering the same week, also for $15.99.

The FS flyer shows the following:

Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3
Deja Vu
National Treasure 1 & 2
Enemy of the State

Presumably, Zellers will have the same. Can Walmart be far behind?

If anybody can confirm these or more at Zellers, put 'em in a post!

Zellers is great at posting a sale, then each store doesn't exactly know which movies are on sale. I know it probably shows these movies in the flyer, but it probably says "Selection Varies from store to store" in fine print. I wouldn't be surprised if you go in the store, and they're all sold out of the BR's they show, but have other award winners like Michael Clayton and Ocean's 13 instead.

Ha! Exactly - the few times I've wandered into one of these barren wastelands I've felt the need to shower afterwards. They make Walmart look like Saks Fifth Avenue.

Looks like Amazon.ca has now lowered (but not matched) these prices and thrown in a couple of more (The Guardian and Gone in 60 Seconds)... I wonder if these last two will be included at Zellers and Futureshop?

to give them credit their selection has gotten better....to the point where i actually bought a blu ray 1.5 months back. it does require more work though thats for sure...one thing i like about Zellers is its always been the easiest place for price matching i've ever had.....(not talking blu-ray here but in general)

Uhm, just so you all know, you could go to Zellers, or you could get them at Walmart for $14.83 each. I was in there yesterday and they were in the bin. Just a heads up.

Sorry to disappoint though as you will will need to send off DVD POPs and wait ~8 weeks to get the upgrade coupons, so it will be too late for this sale.

Picked up my copies of POC at FS today - they couldn't scan the Coupons, but knew they honored them so reduced the price on each to 7.99 :sweet:

The POC trilogy on BR for ~27 after taxes ==

Don't underestimate Zellers. They tend to have some hidden gems in those big unorganized bins. I found a copy of Air Force One for $10 (it was running for $25+ at the time at other stores). They also had copies of LoTR extended ed. DVDs with statues for $20 each.
