Default what do I need to have projector/tv both hooked to hdmi out on receiver?

I'd like to be able to have them both hooked into the hdmi out on my receiver so when I want to watch tv with surround I can without having to pull stuff out and switch the projectors hdmi cable with my Uverse hdmi cable to the receivers hdmi out plug. What do I need to accomplish this?

You need an hdmi splitter, or a receiver with dual hdmi outputs.

The one you linked should work, so long as the run to the projector isn't longer than say 15-20ft. If your cable run to the projector is more like 25ft+, you would probably need a powered splitter.

I use a Monoprice 1x2 powered splitter with a 4ft cable to my TV and 50ft cable to my projector and it works perfect. No complaints so far. I also have a 1x4 Monoprice HDMI switch which performs flawlessly. For the price I would highly recommend them

Definitly go with a powered splitter. I went with 2 of the ones you listed and it didn't work at all.
