Question PS3 not recognizing 1080P when hooked through a Receiver
Ok experts...need help.

I have the new Samsung 1080p (FULL HD) TV.
Using a Pioneer Elite Receiver.

When hooking the PS3 (HDMI) to the receiver, it doesnt recognize 1080P, however when I hook it directly to the TV it recognizes 1080P.

So if I want 1080P, I have to sacrifice HDMI audio and go with the Digital Optical hook up because Im sending the signal with HDMI straight to the TV.



What is up?

I loved the audio with the HDMI, however I want to make sure the PS3 gets 1080P also.
