Heavy Rain or God of War 3?

Just finished playing GOW collection..Planning for the next buy...As the title says which one should I buy? ..Any suggestions friends?

I'd say God of War 3 since you got off of the first two. Going from GoW 1-2 to Heavy Rain would be a wierd transition.

I would say GOW III. If for other reason than I have started Heavy Rain three times. Each time my save game would become corrupt at some point. Quantic is working to resolve the issue, but you can imagine how frustrating it is.

GOW hands down.

If it has any merit, I platinumed Heavy Rain, and I'm more hyped for GOWIII than I have been for any game since MGS4.

for some of us who haven't played the first 2. Do I need to play the first 2 to know what's going on in the 3rd? From the way 3 starts out I do.

To tell you the truth I say play the first two because I played the second one first and I got a little confused

I just have to mention that FFXIII is far from "the same old FF". While it's certainly not for everyone, it's hardly a "pos".

As for the original question, if you enjoyed the 1st 2 then definitely get God of War III.

Two totally different experiences, but you can't go wrong with either since Heavy Rain is great and I have no doubt God of War III will be too. It seems that you are getting God of War III, but you should still get Heavy Rain at some point too. I just finished it and it really is something else if you can handle the pacing.

Agree 100%... Heavy Rain is a game like no other. Its the ONLY game i've played and actually have felt a conection with a character! Its AMAZING. With that said its not for everyone so I'd still go with GOWIII becuase you know you like that type of game since you already beat 1+2.
