What's your backlog of unwatched BD's? - Blu-ray Forum

Since getting into Blu-ray last summer I have built-up a collection of just over 80 BD's. Even though I always take a quick sneak peek at a new BD when I get it, I have only sat down and watched properly (start to finish) 41 of the 80+ I have. That's only about half of them...and I still keep buying them! Mind you many are simply upgrades from the dvd so have seen them before, and some of the newer titles I've watched more than once. I think I only have 1 or 2 that I haven't seen at all.

I have watched everything on my shelf at least once. I don't have cable TV, so when TV is on it is a movie showing.

I have a few Criterion collection blu-rays that I haven't been able to catch up with because of school but other than that I have seen all of my Blu-rays at least once.

I have about 5 out of 45 to still watch. Its just getting the time to sit and enjoy the film

I watch everything too.

I totally "get" not watching movies though. If you want them, you should have them. Watch them at your own leisure. That's why we buy them!!! That's the best part!!!

Dude, if you guys wanna buy your movies and let them sit on a shelf...THAT, in my opinion, is exactly what you are paying for

I have to mention though, that it is worth an inspection when you purchase sets. I bought the clone wars for Christmas and didn't realize until weeks later that I had 2 disc 2's. I was so

Just a suggestion. Put the disc in and check for audio. Skip around a little and make sure it Fast Forwards and Rewinds and doesn't get caught up.

Sometimes, I'll just let a disc play through dinner if I want to check it but watch it later.

I have about 100 still in the plastic wrap, I am ashamed to say. (Plus more on order.) Only got around to watching Slumdog Millionaire two nights ago, though I have had it for months.

The five free movies I got thorough the mail as a result of a promotion when buying my BD player are still in shrink wrap. I can't even remember what they are!

It's the exact same thing with me; I've counted only 165 watched fully out of the 400+ titles I own, with just a couple of TV shows that I've never seen before ever ("CSI" Season 9, "Lost" Season 5, "BSG" Season 4).

On BD right now, nothing. I got 5 movies coming probably this week and I might get Moon if I can find it at good price in stores. That will put me back a bit.

On DVD I need to start my new arrival, Sweet Spy.

I've got a chunk I got around Christmas/January sales that haven't been watched yet due to university work.

2001, A Tale Of Two Sisters (yeah, yeah, I know the quality is supposed to be poor), Casino Royale, A Clockwork Orange, Kill Bill Vol.2, Leon, The Shining, Sin City, Hellboy.

I've only watched about 375 of my 675 total (including HD discs) but I have over 6000 films at home so I watch alot of SD titles
