In response to the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio has donated $1 million to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (CBHF), to support near-term assistance and long-term recovery efforts.

To be fair though that is probably pocket change for him (and tax deductible). It's nice to see anyone donate what they can though.

I am not trying to say anything bad about Leonardo or any celebraty for this matter, but how do we know if they actually donate the amount they claim they do?
