Default What should I get Dish or DirecTV

I'm trying to decide what to install in my house DirecTV or Dish. I'm leaning more on the DirecTV side because I've had their service before but I want some input mainly on the HD front for which I should go after.

I've had both and feel the quality of service (both picture, audio and customer) is MUCH better with DirecTV.

I would recommend it to anyone. Not sure if you qualify since you've had them in the past, but I'd be more than happy to share my customer number with you and we can both get some money back.

+1

I've had both as well and while I really enjoyed dish and thought the service was great I feel like the quality and selection with directv is much better.

They did when I first signed up. I used my in-laws account number and I think we each got $50.

It's now actually $100 each for the current member and new member.

Anyways, with regards to picture quality I prefer Directv over Dish or cable for that matter.

Might want to pop over to dbstalk.
http://www.dbstalk.com/index.php

Think for both dish and direct they are about the best places to go and can see what has been going on with both of them. My current rental will not let me get a sat back so I have not been keeping up. But I had direct when they were just wiping the floor on dish with HD content. But I hear that is not as much the case anymore.
