Problem with my Samsung DLP HLN567W.

Looking for anybody who has had this problem with their Samsung DLP HDTV.

Either you can't turn the power on the TV without unpluging first, or you can't shut the TV off without on unpluging it. This problem is not a remote issue either, because the Power Button on the TV also does not work.

Does anybody have any ideas? I would appreciate any input.

I have a HLN4365 and had that issue happen to me 2x. In both of my cases the TV wouldn't shut off. You can hear the fan spinning but it wouldn't shut down. I've had this set for 6yrs and I'd like to keep it for several more years.

If you do find something keep us updated.

Well, just a little update. My Samsung finally shit the bed about 3wks. ago. I bought this TV in Jan. 04, so that makes it 6yrs. & 2 months old. Not very reliable. The worst part of this is Samsung discontinued making the Digital Board I need and their CS said they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do for me.
I did however find a Digital Board after doing a google search at Findparts4you.com. I have a local Samsung repairshop doing the repairs. The tech. believes that the problem started with a faulty Power Supply. He said that each time I unplugged my TV to power it down, I was causing more damage to the D-Board until it finally crapped out.
Still waiting to receive my D-Board, but I will post how I made out.
