Not sure if this has been posted before or not. Why is there no Dolby True HD or DTS HD MA trailers? Are there movie theaters out there that use True HD or DTS HD MA? It's BS that you get better PQ/AQ @ home than at a theater that charges you 10 bucks a pop just to get in.

Actually on the DTS and Dolby demo Blu-rays, there's trailers for all the next gen sound formats. But I don't think they can use them on any actual blu-rays, as there's also core audio tracks included. So if a trailer for DTS-HD MA played but you're only getting DTS, it'd be kind of wrong. At least that's what I think...

![]() If you search on ebay for the 2008 demo discs, you should be able to get them on there. But really, it's not worth a bunch of money. If you go to Dolby's site, you can see the trailers for Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus on there. They're like 10 seconds long. There is a nifty Dolby City Redux trailer though. But the original was cooler. The DTS site also used to have their little 10 second trailer, but I don't know if it's still on there or not. |

Searched EBay, there is no way I'm paying $30 for a demmo disc, lol. I also searched Dolby.com, couldn't find any trailers.

I really don't like trailers at all. If I buy a movie I don't think I should have to sit through additional ads on something I've already paid for. Sure it's fine at theatres with a general public viewership, but I find any extra marketing on retail discs a bit invasive. Just my $.02 worth.
