Is this useful? If my sub Velodyne DLS 5000R doesn't go below 25hz would playing anything lower hurt the sub?

Is it still relevant with today's BD discs?

Anyone use it? Worth the 200$ investment?

Do you listen to a lot of recording that have had their dynamic range shrunk? Instead of getting this why don't you just listen to better recordings?
